Sell With Us

We offer a luxury consignment service allowing you to sell your pre-loved items with us. Our commission rates are 50% on Luxury contemporary brands e.g. Me + Em, Holland Cooper, Rixo, Isabel Marant, Ganni, and 35% on “Superbrands” such as Chanel, Balenciaga, Louis Vuitton, Mulberry, etc.

How it works:

Contact our team

Simply send us a WhatsApp 07444 864918, Instagram @instyleascot, or email info@instyleascot.co.uk . We will then book you a phone consultation to understand what you would like to sell with us, and book you a drop off appointment to our shop in Ascot. You may also post your items “signed for” to 17a Brockenhurst Road Ascot, SL5 9DJ.

Checks & Our Process

Our expert team will authenticate, photograph, price and list all your items, so you can sit back and relax. We merchandise and sell them nationally online across our website and selected marketplaces as well as through our Ascot boutique.

Payment and Returns

If your items sell, we pay you by bank transfer. If your items do not sell within a 12-week period, we ask that you collect them within 7 working days. Any goods not collected in that time frame will be donated to charity or disposed of, unless we have agreed otherwise with you in writing.

What's your commission?

We offer up to 80% commission on high value handbags (Hermes) and fine jewellery. Our regular rate of commission is 50% on upper high street and 35% for designer. We have a £5 processing fee for handbags and shoes to ensure they meet our cleanliness standards.

What items do you accept?

We sell luxury super brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Fendi, Gucci and Hermes. We also accept contemporary brands such as Ganni, Rixo, Sandro and Maje. Items that are current season & trend driven as well as investment pieces sell the best and fastest with us.

We accept handbags, jewellery, belts, wallets, scarves, women’s shoes & clothing and selected homeware pieces. For Watches, please enquire for our partner watch consignment store.

What items do you not accept?

We do not accept items in poor condition, or from high street brands. We accept vintage designer. For mid-range brand such as Zara, Karen Millen, Phase Eight, we have a slightly longer waiting list, due to having a huge volume of these brands (on-line only), so please enquire.

What if my items don't sell?

Generally, we keep items for 12 weeks on a sale or return basis. The onus is on you to contact us to collect them at the end of the term. Items are eligible for discount if they are not selling – we will work with you to come to a sale price.

If it doesn't sell within 12 weeks sale period, it may be reduced further, or you can either choose to collect the item or pay to have it returned. Or we have many wonderful charities with whom we work to which we can donate it on your behalf.

How do I get items to you?

Do you live in Ascot? Contact us to arrange a drop off at 17a Brockenhurst Road Ascot SL5 9DJ.
Further afield? Send us a WhatsApp and we can arrange a courier service on your behalf. T&Cs apply. Alternately, you can post your items to us, “Signed For”.

Which charities do you work with?

We choose carefully who to partner with and work with The Cowshed, in Wokingham. If you would like to donate all or some of your commission to a charity of your choice, we can arrange this for you.

Where will you sell my items?

In a bid to sell your items, they will be stocked in one of our physical stores, online via our own website and on partner platforms. During busy periods, items can take up to 2 weeks or longer to appear online and in-store. We drop products at the most optimal time based on seasonality or special category or brand drops to give them the best chance of selling.

What about authentication?

Authentication costs between £20-£30, and this will be taken off the sale price of your item. If your item is unsold after 12 weeks, we ask you to pay us back for the cost of authentication, for which we will provide you with the certificate and documentation.

What is In Style Ascot’s policy on counterfeits?

It is against the law to sell fake goods and we, therefore, take any attempt to re-sell fake goods through us very seriously. By selling with us customers must comply with our conditions of sale which detail that the item they are selling is owned by them and is authentic.
